: The second largest private sector lender reported a 31.43 percent jump in its consolidated profit in September to 8,007 crore rupees, helped by steady growth in its core business as well as a drop in money set aside for bad loans.

Kotak Mahindra Bank: The private lender reported healthy numbers, with net profit rising 27 percent to 2,581 crores in the three months to September, boosted by record margins and loan sales. The country’s fourth largest private sector lender reported a 21 percent rise in net profit to Rs 3,608 crore in the quarter under report.

DLF: Top real estate sales rose 62 percent year-on-year during the April-September period to Rs 4,092 crore on better residential demand. Its sales bookings stood at Rs 2,526 crore in the first half of the previous financial year, according to the company’s investor presentation.

Yes Bank: The private lender reported a 32 percent drop in net profit in the September quarter to Rs 153 crore as backlogs of bad assets began to haunt the private sector lender, resulting in higher provisions. The bank reported a profit after tax of Rs 225 crore in the year-ago period.

: The loss-making telecom operator said it has received board approval to settle Rs 1,600 crore owed to equipment vendor ATC Telecom Infrastructure Ltd by converting the amount due into equity if it is not repaid within 18 months. It will raise the amount through equity convertible debt bonds that carry a coupon rate of 11.2 percent per annum.

RBL Bank:
The mid-sized lender said a huge drop in provisions boosted its bottom line by nearly seven times to Rs 202 crore in the quarter to September from Rs 31 crore in the year-ago period.

: The enterprise messaging company reported a 74.5 percent growth in consolidated profit after tax to Rs 73.6 crore in the second quarter ended September 30, 2022. The company posted a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 42.17 crore in the same period of the year before.

: The private lender reported a 266 percent jump in its net profit to Rs 556 crore for the quarter ended September 2022, on the back of strong growth in core operating income. It posted a net profit of Rs 152 crore in the same quarter a year ago.

: The small-cap IT company posted an 11.6 percent rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 115 crore in the second quarter ended September 30, 2022. The company posted a net profit of Rs 103 crore in the same period a year ago.

Puravankara: Bookings for sales of Bengaluru-based properties rose 43 percent to a record Rs 1,306 crore during the April-September period this fiscal due to better residential demand. Its sales bookings stood at Rs 910 crore in the year-ago period.

: India’s first solar glass maker has bought an 86 percent stake in Europe’s largest solar glass maker Interfloat Group for an undisclosed amount. With the acquisition of Interfloat Group, BRL’s solar glass production capacity will increase to 750 tonnes per day from the current 450 TPD, an increase of 66 percent.

IDBI Bank: The LIC-led lender on Friday posted its best quarterly figures yet, posting a 46 percent rise in net income to Rs 828 crore for the September quarter. The management of the bank, which is on the block for full privatization, says that the performance is driven by an all-round good show.

: The technical textile maker reported a 16.8 percent rise in profit after tax to Rs 47.7 crore in the September quarter. The company’s profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs 40.8 crore in the year-ago period.

: The agrochemical company posted an over five-fold jump in its consolidated net profit at Rs 129.81 crore for the quarter ended September on higher sales. Its net profit was Rs 25.18 crore in the year-ago period.

SJVN: The state-owned power company said it will commission a 75 MW solar project at Kalpi in Uttar Pradesh by the end of the month. The project will generate 168.34 million units (MU) in the first year and the cumulative energy production of the project over a period of 25 years would be around 3,919 MU.
