The auction opens Monday (Oct. 24) for Place des Arts’ sixth annual online auction.
Fresh from Amanda Todd Legacy Society fundraising, there’s another online auction for the nonprofit: Place des Arts.
The Coquitlam Center for the Arts hosts its sixth annual outreach with the goal of raising $10,000 to support low-wall, covered art projects at the Mailardville venue.
Auction starts on Monday 24 October at 9:00 AM and ends on Friday 4 November at 9:00 PM.

Organizers Vishakha Uppoor, the factory’s development coordinator, said the auction was held in a crucial year for the Place des Arts, marking its 50th anniversary.
And with the COVID-19 outbreak spreading, venues can offer travel packages and cultural experiences for bidders to consider.
In total, Place des Arts offers 50 items – totaling $11,000 in fair market value – including:
- Roundtrip for two from Vancouver to Tofino (Pacific Coastal Airlines)
- $500 VIA Rail Travel Credit
- Stayed 2 nights at Water’s Edge Resort in Ucluelet.
- Victoria Getaway Bundle (Il Terrazzo and Best Western Plus Carlton Plaza)
- Marmot Basin Jasper SkyTram
Winery tours and wine tastings are also available. BC Lions Tournament Tickets Personal Health Care Package and a four-round golf course at the Westwood Plateau Executive Golf Course.
