The RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit is investigating a homicide in The Kei First Nation | Catch My Job

On October 23rd, Kamsack RCMP responded to a report of a shooting at The Kei First Nation, SK.

The ambulance found a 51-year-old man dead on the spot.

Kamsack RCMP, Yorkton RCMP Forensic Identification Service, RCMP Historic Crimes Unit and the Regina Provincial General Investigation Section assisted in the initial investigation.

The man’s death has been confirmed as a homicide and the Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who has information about the man’s death or who may have observed anything suspicious in a rural area southeast of the Four Corners intersection on The Kei First Nation during the early morning hours of October 23, 2022.
