Artist Danin Johnston, who is participating in Studio 22, 195, has participated in the North Shore Art Crawl for more than six years.
“I really enjoyed opening the studio doors and welcoming the public in,” Johnston said. “It’s a great way to meet new clients and get feedback on new collections. It also gives you a deadline to aim for new pieces and forces a good studio tidy up! “
North Van Arts Executive Director Nancy Cottingham Powell said: “Traditionally, the North Shore Art Crawl has taken place in the first two weeks of March. This year we’re excited to move our event to fall, to join a booming art crawl season. With over 150 artists participating in 88 locations this year, we invite the public to stop by a local business or gallery, meet the artists, see an exhibit, or try your hand at a creative activity, all while learning about the artistic community on the North Shore. .”
