If you’re particularly proud of this year’s Halloween costume, You can enter a costume contest during the Kacey Lynn Halloween Dance.

You can win one of three prizes if you choose your outfit.

Mary Dolan has been managing The Kacey Lynn Fund in Welland for many years. Said that this year will be the 24th year the dance will be held.

Dance raises funds for the Kacey Lynn Fund, which was established in 1985 for Kacey Lynn, a 5-year-old who died of cancer in 1988 at McMaster Hospital.

Dolan said they had previously held the dance in the same location at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 4 on Morningstar Road.

She noted that the fund had spent more than $800 to help children in visible areas.

“The glasses would have been a big help,” Dolan said.

At the beginning of the year, they helped send gift cards along with sneakers to the kids. got back to school

The event will include music by DJ Bars, a costume contest with prizes. and silent auctions, Dolan said.

Tickets cost $10 each and will also be sold at the door. The event is 19 plus.

Doors open at 8:00 p.m.

All proceeds will go to the Kacey Lynn Fund.
