But he failed to mention a British green car with a brown leather interior that was abused by a previous owner in Italy, Vaturi argued in a Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit.

Vaturi claims he discovered the scam a few weeks after he bought it. When his mechanic tried to get parts and found the car was listed as “stolen” by Ferrari and “may be recalled” following the prosecution.

Crosta allegedly admitted to Vaturi by the message that the car was a stolen vehicle.

Vaturi is requesting a refund from Crosta for the car.

He reached out to Crosta, who admitted through the message: “October 1995 it was stolen in Italy.” Vaturi was charged in court documents.

He claims Crosta has refused to refund him and is suing to get his money back.
