returned!!! After a two-year break, Southampton Rotary will host its 19th auction dinner in the Lake Room at Walker House on Saturday October 29 at 5:30 p.m.

This year’s event will feature a “Bubbles” reception sponsored by the Century 21 Saugeen team. Dinner will be Walker House’s signature Prime Rib three-course dinner, chicken or vegetarian.

There will be door prizes, 50/50 draws, fun games and amazing auction items generously donated by local businesses and individuals. Proceeds from silent and live auctions will go to the Southampton Rotary Project. Donations to ‘Fund a Need’ will be used to buy horses for PRANCE.

We are excited to welcome Bill Walker as our bidder. The bill was a successful and entertaining bidder, a former MPP, vice president of the Ontario Legislature. and is currently the President and CEO of the Canadian Nuclear Industry Organization (OCNI).

PRANCE stands for Pegasus Riding Association Nurturing Challenged Equestrians and is a therapeutic riding center dedicated to the growth and development of individuals with intellectual, physical and emotional difficulties through their experiences with horses.

Sadly, one of PRANCE’s horses recently died. They found another horse named King. But need financial assistance to buy it. Contributions of $20 or more to ‘Fund a Need’ will receive a charity receipt from the Southampton Rotary Club.
