In addition to bringing the iconic private diamond jewelery publicly available, Pharrell Williams’ “Son of Pharaoh” auction features eight rare watches. Over time, Pharrell Williams has shown a fondness for Richard Mille watches. The earlier eras of his watch collection have seen some of the most valuable Royal Oaks.
Audemars Piguet’s featured lots include the Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Yellow Gold 20206BA, Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Platinum 20206PT, Royal Oak Concept Carbon Tourbillon Chronograph and Royal Oak Concept Dynamographe. Four of these watches are expected to sell in the $200,000-$250,000 USD range. Pushing for one of the bolder eras for Casio’s G-SHOCK, Pharrell Williams’ custom gold and diamond cases have led a new wave of collectors of tough, high-meets-low digital watches. Two models are available at this auction — the DW-6900 in 14K gold set with yellow, cognac and black diamonds, and the DW-6900 in 14K white gold in white, cognac yellow and black diamonds. It will sell for approximately $27,000 USD.
Rounding out the watch offerings are the Chopard Imperiale and Jacob & Co. 5 Time Zone diamonds from the Royal Collection. These are expected to sell for $300,000 and $350,000 respectively. With three days left in action, head over to JOOPITER to learn more.
