Utah Athletics will honor women in sport at the University of Utah and Title IX’s 50th anniversary with a fifty-year-forward party Friday evening. The event also features a silent auction that is currently online and available to anyone to bid. Get your bid here until 7pm on Friday.

The event kicks off on Friday with a 5:30pm social hour in the Kem & Carolyn Gardner Legacy Hall. Online auction items will be available to view. Dinner and items will follow at 7 p.m. at the Jon M. Huntsman Center floor.

It is expected that there will be more than 500 alumni, students-athletes, coaches, administrators, university leaders. Family members and friends of the program join the program.

The online auction contains official equipment. costume and autographed memorabilia from all 20 Ute varsity teams, Utah Olympians and NCAA National Champions. There will also be exclusive merchandise representing the best brands in the state and beyond that support the Utah Athletics and women’s programs. ours too


Proceeds from the event will benefit Utes with Wings, which will help support our women’s athletics program. Funding for team building training and leisure Traveling abroad and in the country improvement of facilities and overall program development Donate to the Utes with Wings program here.


The Fifty Years Forward Celebration Banquet will feature a panel of featured presenters, including former women’s basketball coach Elaine Elliott, former softball player, and volleyball coach Jo Evans. Beth LonniereFormer gymnast and coach Megan Marsden and athletics Maya Lebar.


Mary Nichelles, KUTV-TV 2 morning news anchor, hosts the program. Charmel GreenThe former Ute softball player returning to his alma mater as deputy athletics director of internal operations and COO will be formally welcomed. athletics director Mark Harlan The evening concluded with a speech and reflection on 50 years of Title IX.
