“The exhibition also includes a piece of jewelery and a beautiful angora handmade sweater The exhibition is ‘arts’ in the broadest sense, and we welcome any and all forms of media,” McCann said.
Six awards will be presented to artists at the opening ceremony on Saturday. Juror 1St2n.d and 3rd Award, and three honorable mention awards will be presented.
“All are welcome and there will be light refreshments followed by a short ceremony with prize presentation. The community can come out and find out who the winners are,” McCann said.
Each year, Cambridge resident artists are invited to submit two works in any media to be considered by the jury for possible inclusion in the annual juried art exhibition.
“The community should come out because this is a very engaging and fun event. You can meet artists from Cambridge and from all walks of life. You can see the art, and talk to the artists about their art. It’s a beautiful, warm and supportive gathering and we’d love for the public to come out,” McCann said.
“Juried art exhibitions offer a very casual and open gathering where people can come together and celebrate art in Cambridge.”
The exhibition will continue till November 18.
