Salvation Army Bloomington

The Salvation Army has a donation center at the Salvation Army Community Centre. Citizens can visit the store between 10 am and 5 pm from Monday to Saturday to access items every day. The Salvation Army is located at 115 N. Rogers St.

Monroe County Community Kitchen

The Monroe County Community Kitchen offers sit-down dining from 4 pm to 6 pm Monday through Saturday at 1515 S. Rogers St. The meals include a main entrée, vegetarian option, side vegetables, salad, fruit, desserts and drinks. In addition, the kitchen also provides cold carry-out meals.

Shalom Center

The Shalom Center is a day shelter that provides daily items, meals and clothing. The center is open from 8 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday inside the Shalom Centre, Phil’s Kitchen provides breakfast from 8 am to 9 am and lunch from 12 pm to 1:30 pm, from Monday to Friday. The kitchen also provides emergency food once a month per household.

Hoosier Hills Food Bank

The Hoosier Hills Food Bank will be hosting several food drive events in the coming months. The Hoosier Hills Food Bank’s 40th Anniversary will be held on Friday, November 18 and the 2022 Thanksgiving Dinner will be held on Thursday, November 24.
