Gibson Dunn expands in the Middle East with the addition of corporate partner Marwan Elarabi | Catch My Job

Marwan Elarabi has joined Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP as a partner based in the Dubai office.

Elarabi joins from the US firm where he previously held several regional and global roles. He has a corporate practice focusing on M&A, private equity and capital markets transactions. He advises issuers and insurers on initial public offerings and bond offerings, as well as state-owned entities on strategic and regulatory matters. Elarabi was previously Managing Director at Citadel Capital (now Kalaa Holdings), and was also an Executive Director at EFG Hermes Investment Banking.

Rated as a leading lawyer in Chambers Global 2022 for Middle East Corporate/M&A & Capital Markets: Equities Elarabi is described by clients as “super commercial, very sharp” and “experienced and well connected”. Elarabi received his Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School in 1995 and is a native Arabic speaker
