Community School of Arts has opened registration for the new term of classes | Catch My Job

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s Community School of the Arts (CSA) opened its second fall term of classes with a workshop on theatrical makeup just in time for Halloween.

Registration for the class opens Saturday, October 1, and the term begins October 25 and runs through early December.

And Charlie Krantz, technical director of APSU’s theater and dance department, will lead a theatrical makeup workshop for ages 8-15 on Oct. 22 from 2 to 5 p.m.

Here are the classes that will be offered in the new term:

monday

  • Art for Kids (ages 6-11) – 4:30 pm
  • Contemporary Dance (ages 10-adult) – 5 p.m
  • Advanced Art for Kids (ages 8-11) – 6:15 pm

tuesday

  • Art for Kids (ages 6-11) – 4:30 pm
  • Theater for Children (ages 5-7) – 5 p.m
  • Ballet (ages 8-15) – 5 p.m
  • Jazz Dance (ages 10-adult) – 6 p.m
  • Art for Teens (ages 12-17) – 6:15 p.m

on wednesday

  • Creative Movement (ages 3-5) – 4:30 pm
  • Dance for Children (ages 5-7) – 5:30 pm

Thursday

  • Theater Tots (ages 3-5) – 4:30 pm
  • Hip Hop (ages 8-17) – 5 p.m
  • Drawing (ages 12-adult) – 5:30 pm
  • Acting and Improv for Youth (ages 8-15) – 5:30 p.m
  • Hip Hop (Adults) – 6pm
  • Mixed Media Painting (ages 13-adult) – 7:15 pm
