MARBLEHEAD, MA โ A marketing strategist, business podcast host and longtime volunteer has been chosen as the new Marblehead Festival of the Arts president for the upcoming summer season.
Jodi-Tatiana Charles was the unanimous choice of the nominating committee with more than a decade of experience volunteering for the festival and donating her time to other causes she supports.
A resident of Marblehead for 13 years, Charles has 30 years of professional experience and executive leadership in marketing, branding and communications. Charles founded LCG Brands Consulting and hosts the “Minding Your Business” podcast.
“Ms. Charles is an experienced business marketing strategist and multi-platform communicator, who exhibits the creative energy and enthusiasm the committee believes is necessary to continue MFoA’s growth and innovation,” said Nominating Committee Chair Eric Knight. “He also shares MFoA’s core belief that support of the arts helps create and maintain a healthy and vibrant community.”
The art festival is in its 60th year supporting the city’s artisans It hosts an annual four-day summer festival featuring a wide range of cultural activities, art exhibitions, concerts and film festivals designed for the whole family.
“We must work every day to provide a high-quality festival for our residents and neighboring towns and guests,” Charles said. “My goal is to bring back the community of residents who haven’t attended events in years, and attract a wider age group with new activities while staying true to the core values โโof the industry.”
